The mission of Immanuel Lutheran Church & School is to ignite lives for Christ through Nurture, Outreach, & Worship.
Immanuel Lutheran School offers Preschool through Eighth Grade students extraordinary experiences and comprehensive learning opportunities that teach the whole child spiritually, intellectually, emotionally, socially, and physically; leading to 100% of graduating Eighth Graders into placement in their first-choice high school or college preparatory academy. We proudly serve Batavia, Geneva, St. Charles, Aurora, North Aurora and surrounding communities.

Preschool Popsicles in the Park, Aug. 9
Preschool Families: Save the date! We will have Popsicles in the Park on Saturday, August 9, at Big Woods Park in Batavia from 10:00-11:00am. This is a great time to come meet new school friends & families.

Back to School Dates
August 12: New Family Orientation (parents only)
5:00pm - Come for a time of fellowship & connection prior to the information session.
5:30pm - This is an orientation for ALL new-to-Immanuel Preschool to Grade 8 families. We will cover information relevant for new students/families (drop-off/pick-up procedures, how to call in sick, & so much more). We will meet in the Sanctuary. Note: Preschool families will then have an opportunity to meet with teachers in their classrooms for classroom/teacher-specific information.
August 14: Kindergarten to Grade 8 Orientation Night (parents only; this evening is for all families with a student entering grades K-8 & is in addition to New Family Orientation)
5:30pm - Principal’s orientation for all families
6:00pm - Learn about curriculum, expectations, communication, and so on
Grades K - 5 will meet with teachers in their classrooms.
Grades 6 - 8 will meet in the Sanctuary.
6:45pm - This session is only for families with multiple children in grades K - 8. Come to this session if you attended the first session and need to attend another session for another child.
August 17: Back-to-School Worship Service, 9:30am
August 17: K-8 School Supply Drop-Off (+classroom open house) and Activity Fair, 1:00-3:00pm.
August 18: First Day of school for Kindergarten to Grade 8, 8:10am.
Morning care will be available starting at 7:00am
Students go to their classrooms at 8:00am. Classes begin at 8:10am
Parents may join our pastors and principal for coffee in the Fellowship Hall between 8:30-9:30am
Opening chapel begins at 9:30am. Parents are invited to join us.
August 18: Preschool Visiting Day, 8:45-11:30am. Drop in anytime to visit your child’s classroom and drop off those school supplies.
August 19: First Regular Day of Preschool.
NOTE: The morning Preschool pickup time has been changed to 11:30am for the school year. This will align with the half-day Kindergarten pick-up and will also allow our teachers to provide extended, uninterrupted learning time in the Preschool morning schedule.
