EASTER EGG HUNT

SAT., MAR. 24, 10:30 AM

Immanuel shares the true meaning of Easter with children preschool age through Grade 3 at the annual Easter Egg Hunt. After enjoying an engaging story of the first Easter morning, children enjoy hunting throughout the ILCS campus for plastic Easter Eggs filled with candy and other treasures. Make this an Easter tradition!

Adults and children Grades 4-8 can contact Mary Wert to indicate their willingness to volunteer to help with this event.

PRESCHOOL SPLASH

FRI., APR. 13, 11:30 AM

Preschool Splash gives prospective preschoolers and their parents a chance to get to know Immanuel's talented preschool staff, explore preschool classrooms, and interact in the preschool setting. Children will listen to a story, make a craft, and meet other children their age. Parents can talk with the principal and preschool teaching staff and learn how Immanuel can meet their child's needs and exceed their expectations.

"Each child is a special gift from God and is to be encouraged to develop socially, emotionally, physically, cognitively, and spiritually, and accepting and affirming each child’s unique competence as a learner today."

--Immanuel Lutheran School Student and Family Handbook.

Through a caring Christian environment with stimulating, hands-on experiences and varied learning resources, preschool children can gain problem-solving skills, social skills, independence, and a love for learning. These concrete learning experiences broaden the foundation for future learning, providing a strong base from which to grow and develop.
